Nevada schools can make several wishes come true thanks to a $70,000 grant donation.

The Nevada Public Education Foundation (NPEF) received the funds from Wells Fargo in order to administer the “Wells Fargo Grant a Wish For Your School” program.

Schools that applied will receive up to $3,000 to fund their “wish” in the areas of financial literacy, math, technology and careers.

“This donation is meaningful because it helps teachers personalize their classroom experience and supports students’ effort to learn and be successful,” says Kirk Clausen, Wells Fargo Nevada Regional president.

The donation will helps schools around the valley buy technology such as LCD projectors and interactive white boards.

The grant affects 12 southern Nevada elementary, middle and high schools such as Western High School, Canyon Springs High School and Desert Rose High School.
